About Livenabled Week 2011
LivEnabled Week is organised by the Centre for Enabled Living (CEL) as part of our LivEnabled campaign. The event opens on 10-11 November, with a 1.5 days industry conference for policy makers, professional caregivers to engage in knowledge exchange, collaborations and capability building that will foster a society that enabled and supports people to lead a life without barriers.
To end off the event, CEL is organising a community mass event on 19-20 November where participants will discover what 'Enabling' means through a variety of stage performances and interactive stations.
About the Centre for Enabled Living
The Centre for Enabled Living Ltd (CEL) was set up in November 2008 by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) as part of the national infrastructure to assist persons needing care as a national care coordinator.
CEL enhances accessibility to eldercare and disability programmes by providing information and referrals on eldercare and disability services to persons needing care and their caregivers.
